Helping Creatives Communicate Your Message with Confidence

If there was a simple, step-by-step publishing plan for you to follow, what would hold you back from sharing your story?

This course is for you if you have:

  • questioned whether self-publishing is for you,
  • considered various publishing outlets and become confused in the process,
  • decided it's time to stop procrastinating on the thing God told you to do,
  • wanted to share your message with the world in a way that is clear and easy to follow,
  • or needed additional resources to ensure your book is professional.

I published my first book with a hybrid publishing company in 2014. Since then, I have self-published 7 books, published 3 additional books for others, built relationships with book stores, and organized a book signing tour throughout multiple cities in the United States.

Module 1 of 5

Self-publishing is not for the faint of heart. I have had many successes throughout the years, but I've also grown a lot from my failures, and I'm here to share it all with you so that you can make a calculated decision. Whether you choose to self publish or not, you will become a stronger advocate of your work with other companies, hands down.

Module 2 of 5

The first time I looked at the platforms available behind the scenes, I was overwhelmed to say the least. However, I have spent ten years educating myself, attending conferences, and learning from my own experiences to help you navigate two of the most popular platforms.

Module 3 of 5

What comes first: the cover or the title? When should you share the name of your book? Are preorders necessary and what are the trends saying about when you should release it all? There's so much more to publishing than simply pressing upload, and we will go over all of the details.

If you have felt barred from the publishing industry or simply want to leverage the possibility of earning greater royalties by controlling your own work and maintaining your publishing rights, I can help with that.

I'm a fan of traditional publishing, but after receiving multiple rejections from various companies I respect, I continued to feel the Lord impressing the need to publish my book.

This course will walk you through 5 modules that will take 2 weeks, and you will have access to the course for a total of 12 weeks. However, if you're not ready to publish yet, this course will help you become the most prepared.

SAVE AND MAKE MONEY

In 2014, I spent $1500.00 to work with a hybrid publishing company that failed to catch my vision. I quickly realized that they valued the quantity of customers they worked with above the customer service they offered. Today, those companies charge between $8,000 and $20,000. Let me help you save and make money by retaining the control and the publishing rights of your work.

PUBLISH DURING THE CLASS

Whether you're ready to publish now or not, this process is so simple you can work right alongside me. Prepare to launch your new book in the new year or take the necessary steps to do so without having to wait on anyone else's schedule any longer. There are modules that you can pause to follow right along with me.

PUBLISH PROFESSIONALLY

Trust me, you have what it takes. I self-published my first book in 2016 on a whim, wondering if I could do it. And I could! In fact, Barnes and Noble was happy to offer it in their stores. Let's discuss what you should outsource, who you can outsource to, and where your money will be best spent. I haven't always gotten it right, but I am here to share my hard-won scars.
